Loading Microsoft outlook

I loaded my microsoft outlook (while loading xp office) on my new computer
that has Vista op system. It loaded, but when I try to start / set it up it
comes back with this message and shuts down:

Failed to register a VB Script DLL. Reinstsall or run Regsvr32.exe
VBscript.dll to self register. An error occured while creating a form.

What do I need to do to fix this so I can finish with the setup?

The first thing to do is give some details, like what version of Outlook and
whether or not you created a mail pfofile with the Mail applet in Control
Panel.

Hello,

Even I have the same problem. I am running Office Ultimate 2007and Vista
Ultimate 2007.

Other applications in Office 2007 including Word and Excel 2007 works fine.
The problem is only encountered whenever I open Outlook 2007.

I have tried several options including registering VBScript.dll again,
reinstalling Office 2007 but none of them worked.

Kindly advise.

Regards,
Abhisek

And you, too, failed to state whether or not you created a mail profile with
Control Panel's Mail applet. Neither do you state your exact symptoms.
