loading game

My son has joined the USMC and Im using his custom gaming
computer.We have windows XP and only a DVD Rom, no CD rom.
The problem is when I try to load in a game like Halo it
loads to the D drive, which is not used on this computer.
I need it to load to the C drive so I can play it, can
anyone tell me how to do this.

Insert the CD Rom into your DVD drive and start Halo.
It only requires the CD to be inserted to verify you possess the original CD.
