Live OneCare free online safety scanner does NOT display program graphics, just placeholders

Hello - Has anyone seen the following behaviour with the Windows Live
OneCare free online safety scanner, an know how to correct it?

The free Windows Live OneCare online safety scanner no longer displays
its program graphics within application windows; image placeholders
are all that is visible. Everything has been normal for months and
suddenly no images. Reinstall does not correct problem.

Affected PC: Windows XP Pro + SP2 + all MS updates, IE7 with all
updates, SAV Corporate 10.1.5.5000.
