To all I ask...I have been noticing lately that My
computer is showing signs of a lot of little bugs and
irritants..I am not sure sp2 caused or whether this is
from another program..I have searched through all for
conflicts and can not find any...This computer runs xp
home ,,1 gig of ddr ram,3 gig intel processor, Intel
865perl motherboard all updated to latest everything..
All of a sudden I am noticing when swapping between
accounts (windows+L) the sound effects are delayed, One
account refuses to log off completely without a hard
shutdown(used to be both accounts but a download from
Kelly's korner seemed to repair my account..Programs are
not responding correctly..Dsl connectivity problems etc etc
I am running Norton security 2004 which has been working
fine for almost a year. A linksys router which was working
fine but recently had a brain fart and I did a repair on
it per Linksys (connectivity better now) I have scanned
this computer for virus's in all phases(safe mode) and
nothing reported.either from Norton or other scans from
different sights..I have run check disc and no problems
yet I still encounter these bugs
My question would be is there a utility that can scan and
tell me what is wrong and do a repair without a reinstall
I also run spysweeper and remove any spyware that does
possibly manage to get through...Even lavasoft's adaware
to get anyhting that spysweeper might miss..
This computer is not even a yr old and should really not
be having these problems so any help would be appreciated
