Listing links in document for editing

Guest

I have a document translated from English. It has quite a few links to
bookmarks in other parts of the same document. Is there some way to get a
list of the links so that I can easily edit them so that the shown text is in
Norwegian rather than in for instance English? The bookmark itself should
stay in English.

I realise that the links are shown in blue in the document itself, but it is
somewhat time consuming to look for each and everyone of them to check them
out.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Version of Word?

I would use Edit | GoTo, Element: Field, select REF from the field
drowdown list.

Hyperlinks are a specific kind of field. You can use the F11 key to
jump from one field to the next. If there aren't many other kinds of
fields in the document, this should be quite efficient for finding the
hyperlinks.

When a hyperlink is selected, if you need to change the displayed
text, press Ctrl+K to open the Hyperlink dialog and change the text in
the "Text to display" box.

If you select a hyperlink and press Shift+F9 to look at its code, it
contains the name of the bookmark but not the display text -- you need
to use the dialog or a macro to edit the display text.

If you still want a separate list of the links, it would be possible
to program a macro to create that. Post back if you want that.

Thanks for your answer. I really thought of a list of all the links, similar
to the style list in Word 2002 and 2003, but as far as I can see this should
also do the trick!
