okay, we just got a network router(wireless) and a
wireless network adapter. there is one pc connected
directly from the router(2k) and one connected through
the wireless adapter(xppro) we set up the network, but
the 2k can read the xp and the xp shows up in the
workgroup folder, but the 2k does not. any suggestions as
to getting the 2k on the workgroup folder?

Both computers have to be in the same workgroup name.
You can verify or modify this in System Properties. There
are several other possibilities but this is where I would
start.

have you enable sharing on w2k? you may want to sue net share command on w2k
to check the sharing status.
