Linksys router problems

Hi ,

I had two computers ( Win2000 & Win98 ) running through a
Linksys BEFSR41 cable/router. The internet connection on
the 2000 stopped working via the router ( I think after
some SP updates or camera software install, not sure which
may have caused it ) anyway, have connect the cable modem
direct to the Win2000 and I can get on the net, however
with the system set up to rum through the router, I cannot
get on the net via the Win2000, however the Win98 works.

A friend of mine had something similar and if I remember
it was a corrupted WSock file? ... not really sure, just
seem to remember that.

I have pinged the router from the Win2000 machine to no
avail ...

Any thoughts or suggestion would be greatly appreciated

If you do an IPCONFIG /ALL from a command prompt on the Win2000 machine
do you have a good IP address and proper subnet for that router?
