Linking in Powerpoint to a target

Rich

I am using powerpoint to do some CBT (computer based training). I have
several separate presentations that comprise my overall course. I have
created navigation between the individual presentations using the
hyperlink feature. The problem I have is that the default setting for
ppt hyperlinks is for the hyperlink to open in a new window
(target=blank). I am trying to find out how I can change this to open
in the same window (target=self). I have located the commands in the
MS Script Editor (ALT+Shift+F11), but when I change the values and try
to save, the values change right back to the default.

We'll need more detail ... it's unclear whether you're working with linked PPT
files or a set of HTML files created from your PPTs. Let us know which, and
also mention which version of PPT you use. Thanks.

I am using PPT 2002, and I am linking to separate presentations. I am
siply trying to get the link to open in the same window. I looked at
action settings instead, but there was still no "target' options

So there's no HTML involved, right?

We'll still need step-by-step of what you're doing because opening in the same
window is what normally happens when you link from one PPT to another. But
there are umpteen ways of linking stuff and another couple ways of viewing the
result. Without specifics, we're guessing.
