Link Tables & Ftp

I'm trying to link a table to an external database, using link tables
function in tables view. (Access 2003)

*.mdb too *.mdb

I have no problems doing this locally but i keep getting "Not a valid file
name" there are no problems logging in or finding the database as i have
temporaily removed all protections.

Please Help, Much Appreciated.

Your subject mentions FTP, but the body of your post doesn't.

If you're trying to connect to a file on an FTP server, you can't: Access
doesn't recognize the FTP protocol (nor HTTP, for that matter)
