Link table manager

I have updated to Access 2003 and the linked table
manager shows no tables. But also I believe I read
on here that there are better methods to update links
than the linked table manager. Please advise regarding
better methods.

Tom,
Since you say Linked Table Mgr is there, but shows no tables, then you did install it
properly.
What you have is a known bug, involving other versions of Access stepping on the 2003
reigistry entries.
In my case, every time I run Access 2000, when I next go to 2003, the download mgr
table listing is blank.

On my website (below/Tips) I have a .doc file for downloading that explains the
problem, and shows how to fix it. However, as in my case, when I run 2000 again, I have
to repeat the fix. I built a .bat file to run the regsrvr rouitine, so it's very easy to
"re-fix".
