lines not showing up in email

I receive HTML emails that are supposed to have lines and borders around text
fields (like an invoice for example) but when I open them in my Outlook 2003
I only see the text. I also only see the text if I open the email using
Outlook Webaccess on my computer (Windows XP) but if I open the same email on
somebody else's computer I see the lines and borders so I know the problem is
a setting in my system. Because the problem exists in both Outlook and
Webaccess I'm sure the issue is a Windows setting but I haven't been able to
figure out what it is. Any ideas out there?

Thanks in advance

Is the message being received in Plain Text or in HTML?
Depending on the thickness of the lines and borders and the colors, this
could also be a contrast setting on you monitor rendering it invisible to
the eye.

The messages are HTML and I've already played with the Contrast. I think it's
some Windows setting that is causing them to not be viewable on my system
only.

I'm not aware of such a thing but you could ask in the Windows newsgroups
then.

Are you using the default windows color scheme? Using other schemes or even
the classic theme in XP or Vista can cause problems like this.
