Please turn off your Caps Lock Key. It's considered shouting, is extremely
rude and makes your posting difficult to read. It's not hard to install
provided you adhere strictly to Lexmark's instructions.

You need to now do a complete uninstall as per Bruce Sanderson's
webpage...Disconnect the All in One Unit from the PC....

http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

After the cleanup, reboot the PC. Download a new set of drivers from the
Lexmark website (www.lexmark.com).

Install the software and DO NOT reconnect the All in One unit to the PC
until the software tells you to do so.

Cari, Do you also have a link to a site explaining how to uninstall old
modem drivers? I posted a question some time ago about the problems I am
having with installing a V.92 modem on an XP pro sp1 system, but no one
responded. I am on my 4th model, and third brand of modem now, and suspect I
have some old drivers hanging around that need to be cleaned up. Do you have
a link or any suggestions?

thanks...DavidF

Ah, I'm not a Modem person really, I only have one PC with an analog modem
in it and that would be the one built into my notebook. And I think I've
actually used it once in three years to send a fax!

Sorry.
