Large photo file jamming outbox, how do I remove it

Sent a massive file which is too large to be sent but is now clogging up the
outbox, and i cannot think how to remove it.

put Outlook offline, then delete the file.

Sent a massive file which is too large to be sent but is now clogging up the
outbox, and i cannot think how to remove it.

Delete an item stuck in the Outbox folder:
- Load Outlook.
- Put Outlook in offline mode (File -> Work Offline: enable).
- Exit Outlook.
- Load Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe").
- Delete the stuck item in the Outbox folder.
- Put Outlook in online mode (File -> Work Offline: disable).
- Restart Outlook in its normal mode.

Setting outlook offline and waiting a few minutes should allow you to delete

old tried and true method.
