Ive narrowed it to two spec's of Acer 5920. Both 15.4", same Intel T7300, 2GB ram..however..

One has, Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, 120Gb HDD.

The second, being £70 more expensive, has NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS , 250Gb HDD.

I'm not a 'serious' gamer but the chances are that i will want to play games etc.
Basically my question is, is it worth me paying the £70 extra? Bearing in mind im probably buying tomorow ;)

Thanks.

In my opinion i'd go for the second one..£70 is not a huge amount to pay..And the nVidia graphics are better//

Some would not touch Acer due to their reliability.
Have you thought of Toshiba at all?

Acer are not that bad, once you reformat them with XP and get rid of the Acer Empowering Technology..That seems to be their biggest downfall..

Try a look at the Dell Vostro 1500 series (found under business section).

Dell, from my experience, are very reliable and now implement dedicated, removable graphics cards in most models.
Mines arriving next week :D to replace my Acer Ferrari 3200.
