Lacie Firewire External Hard Drive not mounting

I cannot figure out if my Lacie Firewire External Hard
Drive is mounting... if it is I don't know where to find
it. My taskbar has a button saying "saftely remove Lacie
1394..." so I know the computer knows its there.. but how
do I access the hard drive?

Be sure the Hard Drive is turned on. Click "My Computer" and you should see
it with a drive letter assigned to it. Open it (double click the icon) and
you should then be able to access any files thereon.
