hey all, i'm in real trouble here and i hope you can help me out.
I have a Lacie hard drive, bought it 2 years ago and its working (well until
now anyway). I updated my windows (automatic updates) and after rebooting the
system started checking my Lacie drive and after that tried to write
something on it. There was an error saying that the system couldn't write
whatever it was trying to write properly (some system files i presume) and
from that point, whenever i tried to get into the Lacie drive, it started
making sounds and then it said: "Disk not formatted -format it now?" It
shows the icon in "my computer", but nothing more.
PLEASE if you have any idea how to get in the drive, i have really important
information on that drive, i cannot afford to format it.
