labtop problems

my cousin has a labtop and her IE shuts down automaticly whenever she goes
to her firends ftp... can anyone please help me on this?

also, when she goes onto MSN messenger she can't audio and webcam at the
same time, she can use audio and webcam on msn ok, but not both at the same
time....

please help
