internet freezes when i use webcam

please someone help,when i start the program with my webcam,internet
explorer doesn`t work,can not log onto any pages or outlook express also when
i`m on msn and start using webcam msn disconnects,even when i shut webcam
down,all internet pages cannot be opened,so i have to reboot my system
everytime,my internet works fine,until i start webcam,i have uninstalled and
reinstalled the webcam and still the same thing happens. please could anyone
help.

It may be that your USB port is not the correct type. ie: usb or usb2.
Try plugging your webcam into a different USB. If you can, find out
which usb types you have.

hi sandy,i have 2 usb ports at the front of my pc,to my knowledge they are
not numbered,any ideas?

hi sandy,plugged the lead in the bottom usb and so far so good the camera is
working and not freezing everything,i feel like a right wally now,such a
simple solution hope this has solved it for good .thanks again
