keyborad Short cut CTRL+C,C

Roxanne

I am using Word 2007 on Vista:
I have read that using the command: Ctrl+C twice should make the clipboard
appear without me having to go to the Home tab and then click the dialog box
launcher for the clipboard. But I cannot get it to work.
How do I go about it. Please explain in details as I am a beginner at this.

Hi, Roxanne,

In the Home tab, click the clipboard launcher (just to the right of the word
Clipboard in the first section of the Home tab ribbon). At the bottom of
the Clipboard pane, choose Options, and see if there's a check next to Show
Office Clipboard when Ctrl+C is Pressed Twice. If there isn't a check, click
the option to turn it on.

If it's already checked but still not working, post back, and I'll provide
some additional things to try.

Like Roxanne, that didn't work for me, either.

When you press Ctrl+C twice, is something selected? If nothing is selected,
it will not work.

It sometimes helps to flip all of the options (if checked, then uncheck,
and vice versa), close Word, restart Word, and then switch the settings
back.
