keyboard lcoked

this will sound pretty basic I know but the keyboard on my laptop has locked and I can't for the life of me recall how to unlock it agani - keypad is working, everything else seems fine. I seem to recall I had the problem before which a call to PC World resolved but I cannot stand to be on the phone ofr half an hour before getting someone...any help would be much apprecaited.Nick

it varies by machine, google it.
if you had posted the make/model, someone might have been able to tell you.
usually it is a series of keystrokes or a combination of keys (ctrl+shift)
or such, on a laptop, maybe the FN key plus another key?
memory jogged yet?
