Keep windows from spawning underneath taskbar...

I like having my taskbar/startmenu at the top of the
screen, but child windows spawn with their title bar up
underneath the taskbar. If I check or uncheck "Lock the
Taskbar" then they all move down but that is annoying. I
set Taskbar Always On Top for a reason. What setting can
I change to keep windows from spawning so high up on the
desktop that when their titlebars are created they are
hidden.

I'm guessing you have your taskbar docked to the left or the top. This is a
known bug with several programs. This includes Internet Explorer popup
windows.

There isn't a fix, but you can at least grab the window (without moving your
taskbar) by putting focus in the "bad" window (with Alt+Tab) and then
hitting Alt+Space to access the window's system menu. From there, you can
use Move to move the window out of the way so you can close it.
