KDC has no support for encryption type

When using EventCombMT to scan for Event ID 676, I see that from quite
some clients 676 is logged, with failure code 0xe (14), which is "KDC
has no support for encryption type"
This request seems to occur multiple times per second.
Clients are W2K SP2.

Any ideas on what this could mean?
Thanks.

This means your KDC (kerberos distribution center) and your client cannot
agree on an encryption to use when communicating login authentication
information back and forth. Are you using a Windows 2000+ server to
authenticate? If you are, someone else will have to explain why this error
could occur. If you're not, then you should read up on Microsoft's Kerberos
interoperability guide (or something like that).

It's a Windows Server 2003, and the issue was also seen on W2K
Servers.
I must also add that there are some Novell clients running in the
environment. I'm not sure if these could be responsible ?
