kazza plus and windows xp crashes

Does anyone know if kazaa plus v2.6.2 can cause complete
crashes of windows XP? Yesterday my computer completely
crashed - I was unable to acces my account and received
various errors like parser message: value creation failed
at line 422 and error code 0x80040507. Somehow the
computer came partially alive again. I ran my anti-
spyware programs and they came up with nothing and then
my anti-virus software which came up with no viruses.
Just to try, I removed my version of KAzaa plus and since
then my computer has worked fine. Was this just a
coincidence? I had bought a verson of Kazaa plus version
2.5.2 but upgraded to 2.6.2 about a week ago. Has anyone
else had these problems?
