reinstall windows XP

My computer is connected to my college's network, however i was taken off the
network because apparently there is virus on my computer. The only way i can
get back on the network is to reinstall windows xp and erase my harddrive, so
my computer is basically brand new again. The only discs that i can find
that came with my computer are "Microsoft Plus! for windows xp" and
"Microsoft Plus! digital media edition". I am not sure what version of
windows xp i have. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Step one is to contact your computer manufacturer and ask them if you have a
recovery partition and how to use it.
