No exactly sure what you want.
You want to see thumbnails of the files instead of file names?
If so, click on the icon Views on your toolbar and then click on thumbnails.
I don't have the icon view in the toolbar window to make any choices,such as
icons.tiles,thumbnails,etc,like i do in my other picture files.

Click on View on the very top bar (situated between Edit and Insert). You
can then click on thumbnails on the opening menu.
Also the first item listed on this menu is Toolbars. Click on it and then
Standard buttons. This will turn the toolbar on with the Views icon on it.
After you do this click on Lock the Toolbar.
