Java Runtime Environment

In my Downloaded Program Files Folder I have 3 Java
runtime environment 1.3.1

The all say theyre damaged..what does that mean and how
can I fix it if needed.
Theyre part of Active X I guess..

Morgan,

Delete these and remove any Java Runtimes that appear in add/remove
programs.
Then download and install the latest JRE from java.sun.com, which will be
1.4.x.

If you prefer, you can search for msjava, download and install that. But be
sure you update it from windowsupdate.
