Since upgrading to IE6 (service pack 1) I've lost use of
my Java Virtual Machine. I know MS are ditching this, but
I've been to SUN and downloaded theirs, changed the
options in 'advanced' on internet options menu to enable
the Sun machine over the MS one, but I still can't get
any JVM usage. Not only that, I can't delete the Java
runtime environment from add/remove as it says 'cannot
find transform path', so I can't delete what's there, and
can't download another JVM (on installation it also comes
up with 'cannot find transform path')
Does anyone have any ideas of why I can't get anything
going on Java? Many thanks (it all seems to have happened
since upgrading to IE6(SP) - another computer of mine,
also using IE6 (but no SP) continues to work ok with Java.
