java error message

I suddenly am getting error message at bootup titled: Java Virtual Machine
Launcher. it reads "Could not find the main class. Program will exit." I
have XP and plenty of memory. Everything seems to be working OK but I can't
get rid of this irritating message. Any help is greatly appreciated

umm uninstall java vm. Go into your browser and take the
check mark off. Install a new version.
