Jane's USAF

Hello, I have been looking for a way to get this game (Jane's USAF) to work
for awhile now, and I havn't got any closer to it then when i started about
a year ago.

The game will install and load fine, the problem that I run into is the drop
down menus in game. You see, they no longer drop down, so I can't select any
of the options/settings in the game. I read somewhere that they change how
they do "cascading menus in WinXP" and that's what is causing them not to
work. I've tried to use the Compatablity tool kit to get it working, but I
don't really know what to do with it.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know!!

I researched this issue with several search engines and there are numerous
reports on this issue. There isn't any known solution to this problem that
I could find and there probably won't be one unless you can get the EA or
the original development house to issue a patch or release source code for
somebody else to modify.

If you looked at some of the same ones that I have, you can pretty much know
the chances of EA putting out a patch for it, or releasing the code are slim
to nill, as EA no longer holds the Jane's License. (I'm not sure who
actually made the game)

EA's suggestion, take the game back if possable. If you can't. Tuff.

Do you think that Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 (when it comes out) will be an
option? or would that just bite for games?
