Italian Language XP Default

I have a friend whos computer OS XP is set to the Italian Language. The
computer came with a machine he bought for making boxes from Italy.

He wants me to switch the lauguage to English.

I've tried changing the settings and making it english but to no avail.
could someone please point me in the right direction to try and resolve this
issue? Thank you

Windows XP is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change it from one language version to another. You'll need
to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP in the language version
you desire, reformat your drive and install it "clean".

Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.
