ISSUE - switching folders in Windows Mail- mail coming to wrong fo

O

Olek Shestakov

1) I found the following issue when using Windows Mail with IMAP:
-I have IMAP folder AAA configured for full download
-I have IMAP folder BBB configured for full download
-Each folder has some number of mails already downloaded and some are still
to download
-In the Windows Mail GUI I select AAA folder and VERY RAPIDLY SELECT BBB
-After I select AAA, application will determine that more mails has to be
downloaded and I will start the retrieval
-But since I switched to BBB, all NEW mail from AAA will come to BBB
-In some time Windows Mail will reload headers to BBB and will remove all
AAA mail from BBB (thanks to IMAP), but all loaded mails in BBB will be
removed.
-This problem is critical for me because I travel a lot, and I realy ned to
have my mail uploaded
-This is 100% THREAD SYNCHRONIZATION SOFTWARE ISSUE.

2) Also, WHAT IS THE RIGHT PROCEDURE TO REPORT ISSUE TO MICROSOFT??? I'm
Director of Software Development of my company, and of course we have the
direct procedure of obtaining issues experienced by customers. I spent 2
hours looking, but I did not find any specific way to REPORT THE SOFTWARE
BUG. Am I wrong? What is the procedure???

I appreciate your answers in advance!

To report problems, try this:

<https://feedback.windowsvista.micro...tp://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_vista_master>

Don't expect an answer, though.

Note that Microsoft is putting most of their email effort toward a new
email program, Windows Live Mail, and their extra cost email program,
Outlook. Don't expect many changes in Windows Mail.

Thank you, I appreciate your advise!

I have the Outlook, but it is just sooooo slow! I hope I will not have to
switch...

Report it here:

Microsoft is putting most of their email effort toward their new email
progra, Windows Live Mail, and the email program included in
extra-cost packages, Outlook. Don't expect may changes in Windows
Mail.
