Is this a threat?

This came up on the Beta and I don't know how to interpret if I should CLEAN
or not??? C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Now, before I had installed this Windows spyfinder/killer, I had spysweeper,
and also the 2 freebies adaware as well as Spybot S & D. I installed those
freebies after I had an issue of not being able to access "stuff" with this
horrible box that kept showing up that said.... YOUR SECURITY SETTINGS ARE
NOT ALLOWED TO ACCESS HTML FORMS!!! OMIGOSH. everything, practically, is in
html form. I just am so tech-illiterate and need help here folks. sure and
it doesn't help that my brain is addled with lesions neither. I used to have
a job, but not having enough brain cells to rub together kind of precludes
being able to KEEP a job, so you all will have to excuse my idiocy (please be
patient with me, God isn't finished with me yet).... thanks for the input.

Don't you just wonder what these folks are up to with all that time on their
hands to make up these awful things to destroy what used to be such a fun and
easy way to communicate without all this grief? ah, the good ol' days
sigh..

From other posts on this board, I gather that Spysweeper checks or rewrites
the hosts file when you restart your PC, and Windows defender is alerting you
to this. Allow.

If you want to learn what the hosts file is and what it can be used for, a
good place to look is
