Is this a good AD setup?

Hi, we are running AD 2003 Native mode, we have 2 DC's,
one is a primary DNS server and the second is a secondary
DNS server pointing to the first server. The first DC
points to itself for DNS resolution, and the second
server points to the first server for DNS resolution and
then itself if it can't find the first. All other
servers point to these to servers for DNS resolution -
first and second respective.

Kind regards

Andy

add second server as secondary DNS in TCP/IP configuration of this first
DC (first second first second :) - don't make a mistake). If DNS service
on first DC fail for some reason this DC will be able to boot up in this
configuration.

I don't know if You are using AD integrated zones - becouse You are
talking about primary and secondary DNS server. I think that if You have
not AD integrated zone, converting them to AD integrated is good idea.

That's sounds OK. Of course You have configured forwarders for external
names resolution ?
