Is there a way to get Zone Alarm to Start First at Startup?

I'm using Zone Alarrn, not the XP firewall. What with anti-virus,
norton goback and some other things, it's usually 1-2 minutes before
the Zone Alarm Icon appears in the syst tray. With my cable
connection, this strikes me as too long to be vulnerable.
Is there a way to tell Windows to start Zone Alarm before some or all
of these other programs?

Right click on the ZA icon in the tray and restore ZA control center, click on overview then preferences tab, make sure that ZA is enabled at start up and is also protecting the client

It is. However my issue is that it is sometimes close to 2 minutes
before the icon appers in the systray indicating Zone Alarm is
active..

Norton antivirus and several other things i would prefer to also start
automatically appear before it. So my question was if it could be
prioritized to start first of all. Otherwise, I guess i could just
turn my cable modem off until the icon appears as another workaround.
There's plenty of probes being blocked all the time by Zone Alarm and
I would not like to have some get through while it is waiting to be
fully up and running.

Jim, I'm certainly not the expert here. I'm presently using ZA freeware
5.5.062.004 the most recent version along with McAfee 9 anti virus. I also
find at times that ZA is slow to load but only by 30 seconds max, most times
it is up and running immediately. McAfee checks for updates at start up so
this may be why the delay in ZA start up for me. I don't have any other
start ups that I know of. Do you have many that are trying to load at the
same time?

the latest ZA is capable of working in conjunction w/ the Windows
Firewall; WF guards machine during early boot, ZA then takes over and
tells WF to shut off. Check the ZA option "Disable Windows Firewall"
(firewall | zones | Advanced).
