Why do you want to use Xeon processors? Why not build a dual
Opteron 242 server instead? It would be close in price,
give you better performance, and allow you to upgrade
to 64 bit software when you are ready for it.

This has to be a 1U system. I plan on setting up a raid 1+0 configuration,
and will be running FreeBSD 5.x
I am not that good with hardware, so maybe someone can help me out.. The
main questions i have are the following:
1. Is everything here compatable w/ each other.
2. Is it all going to fit in the case? There was some question about the
