Is it possible to undo a read only presentation.

My daughter is doing a power point presentation for school. She is trying to
work on it at home and when we try to save it says read only. How can we
correct this?
Thank you. Gene

First, close PowerPoint and open Windows Explorer and locate the presentation
file. If it is on a floppy or a CD you'll have to move it to the hard drive.
Then right click on the file and select Properties. Uncheck the Read Only
attribute. Now open the file in PowerPoint and make a change and try to save
it.

Never save it directly to a floppy or a CD. Always save to your hard drive and
then if needed, copy it to the removable media.
