Invalid working directory

Mark

When I open Microsoft Access an error message comes up
saying that it can't access the working directory on a Y
drive. The thing is, I don't have Y drive and I want my
working directory to be somewhere within the C drive.
Also, in Excel I can't access the options because I get an
error saying "Y:\\saved documents\excel\application data"
can not be accessed. How do I get office to set the
working directory to somewhere in the C drive?

Under Tools > Options menu, click the General tab and change the value under
"Default database folder" to some directory on your C drive. There is a
similar option for Excel.
