Invalid Syntax Error IE6

I

Ian

I have suddenly started to get the above error when I open
IE6. It will not display any page. Also I have noticed that
Internet Options General Fonts does not do anything. It
shows no dialogue. Found an error relating to the Invalid
Syntax problem on Knowledgebase and it said check that
Fonts option. It appears I have a file corruption in maybe
a dll file somewhere.
I have tried deinstalling and reinstalling from the XP disk
but the error remains. Can anyone help get me back IE6
working again?

Thanks

Ian

You open it up and it goes no where but to a page called http:/// with three
backslashes and nothing happens but a blip of what you addressed and nothing
removes it, not ad ware, or spy sweeper, even though it sees the hijacking.

Solution: Download Mazilla FIREFOX
