Invalid Partition Table

I have attempted to install Windows XP on an external USB disk drive.

However, the installation did not complete and now, I cannot boot from
my laptop's hard drive!

I get this message about invalid partition table, and something about
the hardware configuration being an issue.

I tried the commands fixmbr, fixboot, to no avail.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Any advice on how I can boot
again on my laptop?

I rebuilt part table using app on Hiran's boot CD. Lost 0 data. If
interested post back & I'll get url & app name. Worked when all else
failed.

Can u get PMagic to access the partition?

bootsector, partition table @
