internet log on failure

Everytime I attempt to log onto the internet I get an
error 711. Microsoft relates this to the deactivation of
the remote acccess auto connection manager (raacm), and
the remote access conection manager (racm) as well as
telephony. I was able to follow the directions to
correct the problem for telephony, and it started
correctly; however, when I attempted to start (raacm) it
failed and I recieved an error 1068. When I try to start
the (racm) it also fails and I get an error5. Please
help..!!

Make sure the following services are enabled and started:

- Network Connections
- Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
- Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
- Remote Access Connection Manager
