Is there any way to stop my internet from disconnecting when I'm checking my
emails?

Thanks

Go to Tools, Accounts, select your mail account, Properties, Connection.
What does it show for connection?
You must either leave that unselected (in which case WM will use whatever
connection IE uses), or else select the Local Area Network.

Also, under Tools, Options, Connection, the first box should be checked,
and the second box unchecked.

In that case your Internet connection is not reliable.
Ask your ISP for connection troubleshooting advice.

I am having the same issue, disconnection from the internet when I go into
Windows mail. I tried to use your information to correct the problem. But
when I go to tools, accounts is not listed. I am using the "tools" on my
shortcut bar at the top of the screen. Is there a different place I would
find the "tools" that you are talking about?

Use the "Tools" that is on the menu bar of the main screen. It has File, Edit,
View, Insert, Format, Tools, etc. It's pretty hard to miss since it is on the main
screen you see when Windows Mail is opened.
