internet explorer

everytime i open internet explorer a window comes up that
is black inside with a white line that moves about like
its searching for something. its getting a bit tiresome.
how do i get rid of this?

Check for trojan/virus with the latest versions.


Run MSCONFIG from the Start/Run applet
Under the StartUp tab.
What is running that you are not familiar with?
