annoying Internet Explorer Toolbar

while your internet browser is up, when you right click on
the toolbar, you pull up a window that give you options to
check "standard buttons" "address bar" "links" and "lock
the toolbars" which is normal. However, during my many
hours of browsing, I somehow picked up a new
option "search" which when is checked, give yous line to
do your search in and a green "go" button. I have no idea
how this damn toolbar got onto my internet explorer
toolbar and i don't want it there. I'll click it off and
it'll go away but everytime i open a new window or open
internet explorer, it's there again. does anyone know how
it got on my computer or how to get rid of it for good.
not only that, but if you actually used the "search"
toolbar and looked something up, it uses
http://search.startium.com which is a terrible search
engine.
help me get rid of this toolbar for good.

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted
menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from
the system entirely.

Additionally, run Ad-Aware scan (www.lavasoftusa.com). Update Ad-Aware
before scanning

I have a similair problem. Do you have a bunch of new
items in your favourites and on your desktop as well? If
I figure out how to delete a toolbar I'll let you know.
Please let me know if you figure it out.
