Internet Explorer still wont open

Hello,
I used the adaware program and I am still unable to start Internet Explorer. I click the Internet Explorer Icon and as the screen goes to open it shoots off the right side of the screen. Ive tried adjusting the size of the screen to try and drag it back on to the main screen but you cant see it. All you see is the normal background and desktop icons but it shows along the bottom bar as being open! Please help me fix this problem and get Internet Explorer back!

Gary,

How comfortable are you with looking at the Registry??

There is a Registry key that can adjust where the
Internet Explorer window lives, which may be causing this
to happen, please have a read of the page linked below,
it will explain where the key is and what it should be:

If you have a value in that key, if may be the route of
all your problems, if not we will need the think again

Hi Mike,
Thanks for this. I think with adaware I have removed all the viruses etc this looks like it will resolve the problem. I am currently at work and will check this this evening.
