Internet Explorer remembers the last window that was opened and will open
that same way the next time that it's opened.

This will have to be redone occasionally.

Open *one* instance of IE | Use the cursor (not the
maximize button) to drag the window to the desired
size | Click the Close [X] while holding down the
Ctrl key.
-----

Close all instances of Internet Explorer.

Paste the following line into Start | Run and click OK...

javascript:window.open(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)

Then use your cursor (not the maximize button) to drag each window to full
screen and left click the Close [X] while holding down the Ctrl key.

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Open only one IE page, resize to the preferred size by dragging the
corners, and close the window. It doesn't always work; you might try
closing while depressing the Ctrl key, the Shift key, closing from File,
closing with the red X in the corner. This is even less likely to work
if you have IE7, from what I've read.
