Internet Explorer Not Working Properly

When I bought my Compaq Laptop, it had Windows XP Home Edition on it and
still has it. It already had Internet Explorer, too. After some time, a
Blasterworm virus got in my computer and I couldn't use IE anymore. I got rid
of the virus and I re-installed IE. But, it isn't as fast as it used to be
and sometimes, when a webpage is not available, an error message saying that
IE has to close comes up and I have to close it.

I am using Netscape, but it isn't as good as IE and I want to use IE. So,
does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? Should I uninstall IE and
re-install it...again??

See if emptying your cache will help. In IE, tools, Internet Options, general tab,
delete files.
