Internet Explorer icons for HTML files dissappear

For some reason now, all of my HTML files have a Windows 98-style icon with a
app window in the middle. If I have the computer set up for Firefox, the
icons change but if it's IE, then they go to back to the "default" icon (why
didn't they change the icons??) I went into the File Types window and that
didn't help, I tried Tweak UI and that didn't help, and I think it could be
the registry, but every time I go in there to browse around, something gets
messed up and I didn't even touch anything!! What can I do? Help, please!

Thanks for your patience with me...

Thanks! It worked!
But one thing: you have to go into Folder properties and reset any
settings you've got in there so it'll actually work. AT least for me
Thanks again!
