I use salesforce.com and anytime I use a function that requires a pop up
window I get this message and IE shuts down. Example is the calendar
function..I wil click on it and it will launhc a little calendar. I will then
click on a date and it will go to populate the date section but then
everything crashes. this just started to happen and I can not figure out why.
I use IE 6.0 sp2 and windows xp prof. Any advice? Thanks in advance

Hi Chuck :)

In addition to the good suggestion by Frank, if you have any 3rd party
toolbars such as Google, MSN or Yahoo, disable them. If you have Yahoo
Companion, uninstall it. If you have any 3rd party software, firewall,
popup or ad blockers, disable them.

also..try adding the site to your Trusted Zone.

also..

Update your scripting engine. For 2000 and XP go to

The install includes a new jscript.dl

and...

Upate your video driver:

How To Update Video Driver

If you don't know the location of your Video driver, or how to find it:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/games/learnmore/updatingdrivers.mspx
or......

Find the information on your video driver. Then go to the website for mfg.
of the video driver and look for the update to download and install. There
may also be a Update Driver button on the dialog box you can use to go
direct to the update download site.

Hope this helps.
