When closing browser windows this error message window
frequently comes up:
Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

It requests I send an error report - if I decline it opens
another window , if I send one, another error message
windows pops up. Did not happen before downloaded upgrades
to IE6 plus some other Windows 98 updates. Dammed
annoying - any ideas how to kill?

Or look for parasites.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
