Hi guys, I hope somebody can help me with this.

I downloaded IE 8 (final release) and I installed it. It was installed
correctly, at least I think so. When I try to open it I get this error
window.

iexplore.exe Application error
The instruction at "0x5a9138fc" referenced memory at
"0x5a9138fc".
The memory could not be "written"

I have an HP Media Center Edition Windows XP SP3

This seems to be a problem with some anti-virus software that happens
to hook itself into IE. You needed to installl IE * with all "add-
ons" modules of IE uninstalled.
